The Settlement Centre Waikato is owned by Hamilton City Council (HCC) and Hamilton Multicultural Services Trust (HMS Trust) has the operational lease and service delivery agreement with HCC to support the settlement of newcomers, mainly migrant and former refugee communities to Hamilton.
The centre opened in 2005 and offers an information service, rooms for hire, and is the base for several settlement support agencies such as English Language Partners, Waikato Refugee Forum, Migrant Youth Training, and HMS Trust.
Newcomers from anywhere in the world will find their contact with the Settlement Centre Waikato invaluable. The Centre offers free information and referrals for service providers and local organisations. We welcome everyone to get in touch to find out more about how we can assist.
