SETTLEMENT INFORMATION

You will find a large range of information and a helpful team to assist with your settlement.
The information and reception team will also be able to assist you to connect with service agencies in the centre and referrals to other supporting organisations. We also offer computer access and printing.

We have a number of rooms at the centre which are available for hire by the community. Please contact the Information Service team to find out more about room availability and costs.

Transport Education and Assistance

COMMUNITY DRIVING SCHOOL

Passport 2 Drive community driving school is open to everyone wanting to gain a New Zealand drivers licence.

REFUGEE DRIVING PROGRAMME

Open Road – driving support for former refugees to gain their New Zealand Restricted Licence.

BIKE TRAINING

Adult community bike trainings. Learn to ride a bike and gain to new skills on and off the road. Register at the Settlement Centre Waikato.

Access to interpreters in over 60 languages:
face to face and phone interpreting and translation of documents.
Access to information in first language on settlement needs, queries and issues.
